GERUND TO INFINITIVE AND BARE INFINITIVE

Một số đt có thể theo sau bởi Gerund or To Infinitive , nhưng có sự khác nhau về nghĩa  Go on + To Infinitive: chỉ sự thay đổi của hành động + Gerund: chỉ sự lien tục của hành động Ex: [r]

Dùng sau các động từ khiếm khuyết ( will, shall, can, may, might, must, should = had better) Ex: You must keep silent in class.. 2..[r]

Sau các động từ : MAKE, LET + O + BARE INFINITIVE nhưng BE MADE + TO INFINITIVE Hoặc: HAVE + someone+ BARE INFINITIVE nhờ ai làm gì – thể chủ động active HAVE + something + V3/ED nhờ ai [r]

Gerund là dạng động từ thêm -ing (V-ing) được dùng như danh từ.
* Verbs followed by Gerund ( with no prepositions): admit, deny, avoid, appreciate, consider, discuss, detest, dislike,escape, excuse, fancy, imagine, involve, finish, forgive, miss, quit, understand, give up ( = stop[r]

It’s no use/good: khong dang de lam gi, khong can thiet truong hop co the dung ca infinitive hoac gerund:
sau begin, start, continue, intend, bore, … co the dung infi va gernd ma nghia ko doi. note: trong truong hop nay ,cung 1 cau, tranh dung 2 v-ing

Look forward to V-ing: mong mỏi Can’t help: không thể không Can’t stand: không thể chịu đựng
It’s a waste time/money: làm lãng phí cái gì It’s no use /good: làm việc gì đó có ích Waste time: tốn thời gian làm gì Spend time: dành thời gian làm gì
